The magician invites a spectator to look at a fan of 3 jumbo cards. The center one is the Three of Hearts. He turns the fan over so only the backs are showing… the center card even has a different back color than the other 2 cards. He asks the spectator to identify the Three of Hearts by only seeing the backs. She selects the center card. It is removed and held face down as the magician shows the faces of the other 2 cards. When the spectator looks at the card she selected, it is now a picture of a “Tree of Hearts”.
